Well, you’re right: it’s the so-called “Dark Seeker Saga,” the epic adventure of Sora and his friends that spans from the first game in the series all the way to its shocking climax in Kingdom Hearts III + Respirit.
Here’s a detailed look at what’s available:
Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX
This compilation contains four full games, with two additional narrative experiences thrown in for good measure.
- Kingdom Hearts Final Mix – The game that started it all, remastered with high-definition visuals, improved controls, a reworked soundtrack and much more. This is the game that introduced us to Sora, a brave boy with big feet and a bigger heart.
- Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories – Taking place right after the events of the first game, Sora, Donald and Goofy enter the mysterious Castle Oblivion and fall into an unforgettable adventure in the best way possible!… This will make more sense once you play it.
- Kingdom Hearts 358/2 days (Cinematics remastered in HD) – This story focuses on Roxas, a new character with a special connection to Sora. The compilation features cutscenes from the original game, enhanced with additional text and remastered in high definition.

The Dark Seeker saga reaches its climax in Kingdom Hearts III. The Guardians of Light gather for the final battle against the forces of Darkness
But before that, Sora must travel through a whole new set of Disney and Pixar worlds. He’ll team up with Buzz and Woody to explore a toy store, unravel a mother’s sinister plot with Rapunzel, soar through the skies of San Fransokyo with Baymax, and much more.
The PC version also includes the “Re Mind” DLC as standard. It features additional story content, some of the toughest and most exciting boss battles in the entire series, and many additional features including gameplay modifiers and photo galleries.
