There will be no traditional reunion for Season 14 of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey,” Page Six can confirm.
“The women were informed by production this week that a traditional reunion would not take place this season amid the divisive state of the show,” a source exclusively told Page Six.
A second insider close to the situation shares that the Bravo cast — which includes Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorga, Margaret Josephs, Dolores Catania, Jennifer Aydin, Rachel Fuda, Danielle Cabral and “Friends of” Jenn Fessler and Jackie Goldschneider — has been informed that the network is considering a different concept to conclude the season.
In their typical format, the “Housewives” reunions — moderated by host Andy Cohen — are meant to facilitate resolution between the show’s stars. However, it has become clear that there is no path forward for the “RHONJ” group in such a context.
The second source points out that an intense all-cast dinner filmed for the upcoming finale — during which insults, expletives and dishes were thrown between the ladies — felt like a dead end.
“It makes sense,” the insider says. “And once viewers see the finale, the decision to forgo the traditional reunion will make even more sense.”
People was the first to report that “RHONJ” did not have a traditional reunion format for season 14.
Page Six has contacted Bravo for comment.
The discordant climate of “New Jersey” is rooted in Giudice’s long-running feud with her ex-sister-in-law Gorga.
Their feud intensified after Giudice, 52, and her husband, Luis “Louie” Ruelas, accused the “On Display” singer, 45, of cheating on her husband Joe Gorga during the explosive finale of season 13.
Melissa – who has denied the allegations – ultimately decided that she and Joe would skip Giudice and Ruelas’ wedding in August 2022.
Melissa and Giudice filmed the current installment of “RHONJ” largely separately.
Melissa explained in a January episode of her podcast that her and Giudice’s family are “happier” since they went down to “almost zero” communication.
During this time, there were many conflicts between the other actors.
Ex-best friends Josephs, 57, and Goldschneider, 47, are ruled out due to a complex assortment of issues — including the latter’s claim on Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” podcast that the first allegedly asked him to leave the series if Guidice’s spouse, Ruelas, 49, returned.
During the 2023 “RHONJ” Season 13 reunion, Josephs accused Ruelas of making a threatening call to his son at work – cementing their status as on-screen enemies.
Still, Goldschneider maintained a friendship with Giudice and Ruelas — as did fellow cast “friend” Fessler, 53.
Fessler’s budding bond with Giudice contributed to the end of his once-close relationship with Fuda, 33.
Notably, Ruelas was accused by Rachel’s husband John Fuda of hiring a private investigator to dig into her past, while Giudice called John “the biggest drug dealer in Bergen County” on camera – and spread baseless gossip about his staff. life.
Cabral, 38, for her part, recently told Page Six that she had a falling out with Giudice in late 2023 for unspecified reasons.
Additionally, it was reported last September that the Boujie Kidz founder and Aydin, 47, had a violent altercation during production that resulted in both parties temporarily suspending filming.
All this time, 53-year-old Catania maintained neutral relations with everyone. As seen in the finale dinner preview, she remains seated at the table surrounded by broken glass — which seems to symbolize the fractured dynamic of the “RHONJ” girls.
Catania told Page Six at BravoCon 2023 that season 14 ended with tons of drama.
“There’s a big bombshell in the finale…and you’d never know what it would be,” she said at the Las Vegas fan event last November.
“There were two bombs in the finale,” Catania said before continuing: “It was a very difficult season for all of us. (It) made for good TV. Oh, if it did anything, it did. is that it made for good TV.
“The Real Housewives of New Jersey” airs Sundays at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
