Thirty years after her murder, those close to Nicole Brown Simpson pay tribute to her life in an exclusive documentary.
Broadcast over two nights, The Life and Murder of Nicole Brown Simpson premieres tonight and tomorrow on Lifetime. Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman were found stabbed to death in her Los Angeles home on June 12, 1994. In what was dubbed the “trial of the century,” Simpson’s ex-husband, the former NFL player OJ Simpson, was acquitted. in both murders, but was later found responsible for their deaths in a civil suit and ordered to pay $34 million to the victims’ families.

“People are really going to hear her voice,” said Tanya Brown, Nicole’s younger sister. The Hollywood Reporter. “I forgot what she looked like. The only recording I remember was her calling 911, and I don’t want to remember my sister’s frightened voice. I want to hear him playing on the beach with his kids saying, “Hi Sydney” (to his daughter).
The Life and Murder of Nicole Brown Simpson “provides an opportunity for Nicole’s story and voice to be heard in one of the most notorious crimes and trials in history.” The project brings together 50 participants, including those who knew Nicole best – her friends and family – to shed new light on her life and tragic death. With unprecedented access to home videos and exclusive interviews, the documentary will reveal shocking new details in this tragic story,” the newspaper notes. The doctor was announced the day after the death of OJ Simpson, who died in April of prostate cancer at age 76.
The documentary is part of A+E Networks’ Stop Violence Against Women initiative.
