Even if June 14 Showdown at the castle Coming Home Episode Smack down will air at its usual time at 8 p.m. ET on USA in the United States, it will not be live. Indeed, the show is taking place at the venue of tomorrow’s premium live event, the OVO Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland, and is broadcast live there at 7pm BST (2pm ET). This means that spoilers will be available for those who wish to participate.
Announced for the show: Undisputed WWE Champions Cody Rhodes and AJ Styles make the final push towards their “I Quit” match tomorrow, Kevin Owens taking on Solo Sikoa, Michin taking on Queen Nia Jax, Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa from #DIY visits the Tag Champions. on The Grayson Waller Effect, Chelsea Green going one-on-one with Naomi, and more!

- We see separate videos of Cody Rhodes, AJ Styles (with Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows) and Kevin Owens arriving on location as announcers Corey Graves and Wade Barrett welcome us to the show.
- Bayley enters to start the show, followed by Naomi. Chelsea Green and Piper Niven are next. Green cuts a promo, saying they will become WWE Women’s Champions when Niven defeats Bayley tomorrow. First, she beats the champion’s “girlfriend GLOWy.”
- Naomi def. Chelsea Green in a match that spans two segments. Green nearly scored a sneaky roll-up victory, but Bayley intervened to push Chelsea’s feet off the ropes. Naomi won with a roll-up of her own after sliding out of an Unprettier moments later.
- After a recap of Legado Del Fantasma’s Angel & Humberto attacking Apollo Crews last week, we see GM Nick Aldis with Baron Corbin. Corbin thanks him for the opportunity when Santos Escobar shows up with his boys to ask if Aldis runs a charity. This leads to an exchange between LDF and GM about how they were fined for their actions last week. He also prepares Escobar vs. Crews for this week.
- After another commercial and hype video for Women’s Tag Champions Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair, it’s time for The Grayson Waller Effect. Waller and his title partner Tag joke about how Scotland sucks, then bring in their guests, #DIY. Johnny Gargano and Tomasso Ciampa rearrange the talk show set as the host jokes that they have small chairs because they act like children. Ciampa counters with mind games about Theory being Waller’s “secretary” because his name isn’t on the show, and Grayson replies that it’s because it predates their team and the graphics are expensive. He said he would take a bullet for Austin. #DIY plays a clip from the last one showing Waller not doing that, which he says wasn’t real. The Australian also criticizes them for not showing him winning the match. This leads Tommaso to say that they are out for a title match… TONIGHT!
- Waller says they wouldn’t defend their belts in a place like Glasgow. Gargano then speaks directly to Theory, referencing their history together (like The Way in NXT). He’s proud of what his “son” has accomplished, but he hates to see what’s happening to him now. Johnny says Waller uses Theory. Grayson then punches Johnny and things fall apart, but when Gargano delivers a superkick, Theory pushes his partner out of the way and takes the hit. Ciampa then flattens Waller with a running knee before laying #DIY with the waistlocks.

- Highlights from last week’s main event lead us to a scene where Street Profits and B-Fab tell KO they have his back since he got theirs last week. Montez Ford says they all hate The Bloodline.
- The men’s champions walk and talk about what just happened with Ciampa & Gargano. Naomi and Bayley are walking and talking about how things are going for them when Blair Davenport arrives to confront Naomi. Bayley tells her friend to leave it alone when Chelsea Green shows up for more trash talk about tomorrow’s title match. Piper Niven splashes both babyfaces into the wall before the heels take the title.
- Santos Escobar def. Apollo crews. Humberto and Angel distract Crews to let their boss take over, but Baron Corbin comes to confront them. Apollo hits a standing moonsault for a near fall before the commercial break. Crews controls most of the second half of the match, but while Angel and Humberto go after Corbin, Elektra Lopez pushes Crews off the top turnbuckle. This allows Escobar to roll him up for the win.
- A recap of the Cody Rhodes/AJ Styles feud brings us to commercial. Rhodes heads to the ring when we return, and we see that there are several members of the SmackDown roster (including Andrade, Cedric Alexander & Ashante Adonis and Pretty Deadly in the crowd.
- The WWE Champion asks Glasgow what he wants to talk about. He accepts Styles’ fake retirement and says AJ is starting to look like a veteran who’s held on too long. He pauses to let the British crowd chant his name, then mentions that tomorrow the Phenomenal One has to make him say the words… but before he can, the OC arrives. Styles is surprised at how easy it was to make Rhodes angry. The champion asks him to come to the ring for a chat, and to leave “Horace and Jasper” when he does. AJ tells Anderson & Gallows he has this.
- The challenger talks about how he and Rhodes aren’t the same, pointing out how Rhodes has left promotions in the past and wondering if when the going gets tough, Cody goes for it. The American Nightmare admits he made some big decisions and says he left New Japan, ROH and even a company he started with friends. He defends these decisions as a bet on himself, one that has paid off in areas like his current title reign. Rhodes says he admires AJ’s career, but is disappointed that he became a resentful coward who had to pose as Mark Henry for another title shot. He wants him to say “I quit.” Styles responds that he can’t stop being phenomenal, looking back at the sacrifices he’s made and how his family wants him to retire. But he’ll decide when he’s done, and he’ll do whatever it takes to win tomorrow, even if it means leaving Cody a bloody mess to make him say “I quit.”
- Cathy Kelley works for Street Profits & B-Fab and wants to know if they are going to get into The Bloodline business. Before they can respond, Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa attack Ford and Angelo Dawkins. They brawl in a stairwell before authorities break them up. Owens appears as we head to commercial.
- Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark get an interview to talk about how they are going to tear everyone apart tomorrow and win the women’s titles.
- Nia Jax def. Michin. Tiffany Stratton was commentating on this one and, towards the end of the match, threw water in Michin’s face. She was thrown over the announce table for this, but that allowed the reigning Queen of the Ring to finish things off. Jax finally hit an Annihilator for the pinfall victory.
- Backstage, Kelley catches KO as he leaves the trainers room. Street Profits won’t be allowed at ringside tonight, but Owens says he’s dealt with the “Bloodline bootleg” before.
- A video from this morning’s Kickoff show follows a commercial and a glimpse of Logan Paul at the Tetris Championship last weekend.
- We see the United States champion arriving home, and being informed that his “boy from LA” is in his swimming pool. They understand and an incredulous Paul demands to know how LA Knight got into his house. Knight plays along by saying he was just trying to have a good time with him, but now he has to leave. LA says he’ll see him in Chicago (site of next week’s SmackDown), and he’ll bring his title with him.
- Carmelo Hayes is in a suite at the arena and asks for the spotlight. He mocks Knight as a clout chaser for flying to Puerto Rico to play in Paul’s pool. He doesn’t chase opportunities, they chase him. Next week he will take a Money in the Bank qualifier and become Melo in the Bank.
- The Bloodline are walking when Nick Aldis cuts them off to tell them that due to the fight with Street Profits, the Tongans are barred from the ring for the main event. Solo Sikoa tells Paul Heyman that if he loses, it will be Heyman’s fault.
- Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn talk to Jackie Redmond about coming home and how they’ll leave as Women’s Champions after Showdown at the castle.
- Solo Sikoa def. Kevin Owens. KO gets the better of a brawl outside before a commercial. This is followed by a sequence where both men go on offense, before Sikoa gets the last shot in a battle on the apron before going to another commercial break. Owens escapes the Samoan Spike and hits a Stunner, but Heyman puts his man’s foot on the ropes without the referee noticing, stopping the three count. KO goes after the Hall of Famer for this and releases the announcement desk for something. Solo catches him with a Spike before he can do anything, and after another one in the ring, Sikoa pins him.
- Then Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa show up to inflict more punishment on Owens. As they prepare for the Cerberus Bomb, Randy Orton’s music hits! He rushes to the ring area and takes out the Tongans before Sikoa attacks. Trading punches as they get back in the ring, where Orton kicks him and gets the draping DDT. He sets up for an RKO, but Loa is back and ends up taking action while Solo escapes.
