So most of the points are in the upper 60s to lower 70s. THE HUMIDITY IS STARTING TO REALLY INCREASE, AND THAT WILL ALSO BE THE THEME THROUGHOUT THIS AFTERNOON. NOW OVER THE NEXT 12 HOURS WE WILL SEE A GOOD AMOUNT OF SUN UNTIL THE END OF THE MORNING AS WE HEAD INTO THE EARLY AFTERNOON A FEW ADDITIONAL CLOUDS START TO DRIFT IN AS THE HEAT AND L humidity increases. IN GREENVILLE COUNTY, DEPUTIES SAY A PERSON DIED AFTER AN OFFICER-INVOLVED SHOOTING YESTERDAY NIGHT. DEPUTIES SAY IT HAPPENED AT 51 ARCH STREET AROUND 8:00 P.M. AFTER RECEIVING A CALL. One suspect is said to be dead, but all officers are OK. THEY ALSO TOLD US THERE IS NO THREAT TO THE PUBLIC AND FOUND A SHOOTER SHOOTING INTO A HOUSE. Um, they approached him, challenged him. He turned to the deputies and officers involved. THE SHOOTING HAPPENED. DEPUTY FIRED. YESTERDAY WERE THE WELL-BEING EVENTS. ACTIVITIES AT THE EVENT INCLUDE A5K RACE RECOVERY FOR VETERANS, 30 MINUTE YOGA, AND CYCLING CLASSES. THESE ACTIVITIES PROMOTE PHYSICAL HEALTH, MENTAL WELL-BEING AND RAISE AWARENESS TO THE VETERAN COMMUNITY. ALL PROCEEDINGS GO TO THE SERVICE OF VERNON VETERANS. LAST YEAR, MAYOR KNOX WHITE OFFICIALLY DECLARED JUNE 19TH AS GREENVILLE’S TENTH DAY. THERE’S ANOTHER PLACE FOR YOU COFFEE LOVERS TO FILL YOUR CUP. CLUTCH COFFEE BAR LOCATED ON EAST NORTH STREET, HAD THEIR GRAND OPENING YESTERDAY. A PARTY WAS ORGANIZED AT THE EVENT, FREE DRINKS AND PASTRY WERE OFFERED ALL DAY TO EVERYONE WHO VISITED THE STORE. CLUTCH COFFEE OPENED THEIR FIRST STORE IN THE UPstate LAST YEAR. AT TAYLOR’S. THE STORE WAS ESTABLISHED IN THE CAROLINAS IN 2018. I mean, this area is growing tremendously and we’re really excited about it. WE LOVE THE ENERGY AND CULTURE HERE. I think it’s a great community and so we opened one on WADE HAMPTON in Taylors last year, and we’re excited to have a second one here. CLUTCH COFFEE NOW HAS 11 LOCATIONS IN NORTH AND SOUTH CAROLINA, AND KITE HILL BREWING’S THIRD ANNIVERSARY WAS HELD IN CLEMSON YESTERDAY. THE BREWERY IS LOCATED ON PATRICK SQUARE ON ISSAQUEENA TRAIL. THE BREWERY SERVED A VARIETY OF BEERS WHILE CUSTOMERS ENJOY LIVE MUSIC AND EVEN A DUNK TANK. THIS TANK IS HERE AS PART OF A FUNDRAISER TO SUPPORT THE CLEMSON COMMUNITY CARE FOOD PANTRY. In the post, Wandering Bard Meadery says the decision has nothing to do with alcohol liability insurance. The decision was based on Meadery’s lease, with Hampton Station being up at the end of 2024.
