Tony Awards: Winners List (Live Update)


The Tony Awards will be presented Sunday evening.

Ariana DeBose hosts the live stream from the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts in New York. The ceremony will air live from 8-11 p.m. ET/5-8 p.m. PT on June 16 on CBS and stream on Paramount+ in the United States (see photos from the red carpet.)

Stereophonic was named best play, while Appropriate won the award for best revival of a play.

Other notable winners include Daniel Radcliffe and Jeremy Strong, who both won their first Tonys, and Dede Ayite, who became the first black woman to win a Tony for best costume design of a play.

The castings of Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club, Hell’s Kitchen, Illinoise, Merrily We Roll Along, Stereophonic, Suffs, The Outsiders, The Who’s Tommy And Some water for the elephants.

Presenters will include Utkarsh Ambudkar, Nate Burleson, Cynthia Erivo, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Josh Gad, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Sean Hayes, Taraji P. Henson, Julianne Hough, Jennifer Hudson, Angelina Jolie, Nick Jonas, Idina Menzel, Ashley Park, Jim Parsons, Wendell Pierce, Ben Platt, Anthony Ramos, Andrew Rannells, Solomon Thomas, Taylor Tomlinson, Pete Townshend, Tamara Tunie, Adrienne Warren, Patrick Wilson and Jeffrey Wright.

The Tonys, presented by the Broadway League and the American Theater Wing, have been broadcast on CBS since 1978. Nominees were selected by an independent committee of 44 theater professionals appointed by the Tony Awards Administrative Committee; 836 voters from the theater community voted for the categories. The 2023-24 eligibility season began on April 28, 2023 and ended on April 25, 2024.

Julianne Hough and Utkarsh Ambudkar hosted the Tony Awards pre-show, The Tony Awards: Act One. The special included a presentation of the first round of awards and aired live on Paramount’s free streaming service, Pluto TV, from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. ET/3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. PT.

The Tony Awards are produced in collaboration with Tony Award Productions and White Cherry Entertainment. Kirshner and Weiss serve as showrunners and executive producers for White Cherry Entertainment, and Weiss will serve as director. Jack Sussman also serves as executive producer.
