SUPERMAN SIGNS IN CLEVELAND
If you had any doubts, it’s Superman In 2025, 3News digital content producer Anna Meyer took several photos in Cleveland Wednesday morning, one of which shows the Leader building in the 500 block of Superior Ave. with a sign above the entrance declaring: THE DAILY PLANET.
Interesting fact: The Leader Building, which opened in 1913, was actually built to house two newspapers: Cleveland’s leader And The Cleveland News. While Cleveland’s leader ceased operations in 1917, the Leader Building continued to produce editions of The Cleveland News until 1926.
Other images we captured also show banners and signs referencing Metropolis (see photos in our gallery below).

Last year, Garvey also told 3News that “big films” would bring their productions to Cleveland.
“People are going to be happy,” he said on November 9. “Major, iconic films are coming.”
Here’s a snippet of what Garvey said late last year…
