Prime Day is known for being Amazon’s biggest sales event of the year, but a week before Amazon’s exclusive sales event, another major retailer will be hosting what it’s calling “its biggest savings event ever.” Walmart has announced that it will be hosting “Walmart Deals” the week before Prime members take part in Amazon’s two-day sale extravaganza. Starting Monday, July 8 at 5 p.m. ET, shoppers will be able to take advantage of thousands of deals on popular items across electronics, home, toys, travel and more, including back-to-school must-haves. Walmart’s deals are open to everyone, so you don’t need a Walmart+ membership to participate like you need a Prime membership to participate in Prime Day.
