Pokémon Go Inbound from Ultra Space Quest Step, Research Tasks, and Bonuses

From Ultra Space is our warm-up event for this year’s Go Fest Global event at Pokémon Go.

As the name suggests, this Pokémon Go event sees Ultra Beasts once again invading five-star raids. They’ll be rotating every day, so be sure to check out the Ultra Space Raid Schedule to find out when each Ultra Beast appears.

As you participate in raids, you will also be able to progress in the From the Ultra Space Timed Research Quest which also rewards you with encounters with Ultra Beasts. You even have the chance to catch Ultra Beasts exclusive to the region!

Pokémon Go “Timed Research from Ultra Space” quest step

The Inbound from Ultra Space Timed Research quest is available to all Pokémon Go players and you have until Saturday, July 13, 2024 at 10 a.m. (local time).

We highly recommend taking the time to complete this research quest as well, as it will grant you the opportunity to catch every Ultra Beast, with the exception of Poipole and Naganadel, that has been released so far in Pokémon Go. This is perfect for anyone who is missing an Ultra Beast in their collection or wants to earn more candy for a specific creature. Especially if you are missing the region-exclusive Ultra Beasts, as they all make an appearance in the quest below and, unlike raids, they cannot run away.

Celesteela

Celesteela and other regional Ultra Beasts can be obtained through this quest.

So here’s the quest step and rewards for the From Ultra Space Timed Research in Pokémon Go. Spoiler alert, but I’ve kind of done this already, right?

Pokémon Go Incoming Raid Schedule from Ultra Space

The arrival of Ultra Space brings a very busy raid schedule to Pokémon Go, so I thought it would be best to dedicate a dedicated section to it since each day marks the arrival of a different Ultra Beast in the five-star raids. Before we get into the schedule, however, there are a few things you should know.

First off, there’s a dedicated raid hour for the Ultra Beast every day, between 6pm and 7pm local time, which is perfect for battling in a raid group with your friends. Then, you might find yourself catching a shiny Buzzwole, Pheromosa, or Xurkitree for the first time!

Buzzwole and Pheromosa now have shiny forms!

Finally, all Ultra Beasts you catch during these raids will have a special history. These histories are similar to those from previous Go Fest events and will appear on the Pokémon’s summary page for you to enjoy. It’s important to note that Ultra Beasts caught during the research quest above will have a special history. not have this background.

That being said, let’s take a look at the Inbound from Ultra Space raid schedule:

Xurkitree can also be shiny now!
  • Monday July 8th – Lord of the engulfments
  • Tuesday July 9th – Nihilego
  • Wednesday July 10 – Celesteela in the southern hemisphere and Kartana in the northern hemisphere
  • Thursday July 11 – Stakataka in the Eastern Hemisphere and Blacephalon in the Western Hemisphere
  • Friday July 12 – Buzzwole in the Americas and Greenland, Pheromosa in Europe, Middle East, Africa and India, Xurkitree in Asia Pacific

Remember: All regional Ultra Beasts are available through the Timed Research quest above. It may take some time to catch them during these encounters, but unlike raids, Pokémon cannot escape from quest encounters. For this reason, we recommend catching regional Ultra Beasts through the Timed Research quest rather than using remote Raid Passes.

Everything we know about the Inbound from Ultra Space event in Pokémon Go

The entrance from Ultra Space will take place until Saturday, July 13 at 10 a.m. (local time) in Pokémon Go, so it ends just in time for Go Fest 2024: Global! This event has two bonuses that take place during and a little beyond that you should know about.

The first is that all players level 31 or higher are guaranteed to receive XL Candy by trading Pokémon until Sunday, July 14 at 11:59 p.m. (local time). If you purchased a Go Fest 2024: Global, you’ll be able to make six special trades per day during the event. So with this bonus, it’s a great opportunity to get your hands on some rare XL Candy.

The second bonus is for Remote Raid Passes and is split into two parts. The first part is the number of Remote Raid Passes you can use per day, which increases to 20 until Thursday, July 11. On Friday, July 12, the second part will begin, and the Remote Raid Pass cap will be completely removed until Sunday, July 14. The Remote Raid Pass cap will likely return at the end of Go Fest Global at 6 PM local time. Still, it’s a great time to relive the glory days of no Remote Raid Pass caps. I miss those days…

In addition to these bonuses, there is also a global challenge running throughout Inbound from Ultra Space in preparation for Go Fest 2024: complete 30,000,000 Raid Battles.

Every Pokémon Go player is taking part in a global challenge, and if we succeed, everyone will be able to use Beast Balls to catch Ultra Beasts during Go Fest 2024: Global! Plus, once the challenge is completed, the party’s power will charge faster in raids until Saturday, July 13 at 10 a.m. local time.

It is important to note that this Global Challenge will end at the following times on Friday, July 12, as the Go Fest Global Challenges will begin one hour later:

  • UNITED KINGDOM – 9:00 p.m. (BST)
  • Europe – 22:00 (CEST)
  • East Coast of the United States – 4:00 p.m. (EDT)
  • West Coast of the United States – 1:00 p.m. (PDT)

Finally, Inbound from Ultra Space has a number of paid offerings. The first is, of course, a paid research quest that offers additional candy for all Ultra Beasts except Poipole and Naganadel, and a raid completion XP bonus among other rewards. If you purchase this quest, expires Sunday, July 14 at 8:00 p.m. (local time)so you can continue working on it during Go Fest. A ticket costs £4.99, $5, or the equivalent price in your local currency. It is non-refundable and cannot be purchased with PokéCoin, but can be gifted to a player with whom you are Great Friends or higher.

Second, there will be four item packs available in the Pokémon Go online store at different prices during the event. One is focused on raids ($19.99), another is focused on hatching eggs ($39.99), and the cheapest ($4.99) offers storage upgrades for your item bag and Pokémon storage as well as raid passes and incubators. If you’re interested, head over to the Pokémon Go online store where the packs will be listed in full with prices for your region.

I hope you enjoy the Inbound from Ultra Space event and are getting ready for Go Fest 2024: Global!
