The 2024 Primetime Emmy Awards have announced the TV shows and actors that will compete for the top prizes at the September ceremony.

The next show will arrive just months after the 2023 Emmy Awards, which were delayed until early January due to last year’s cast and writers’ strikes.

On Wednesday (July 17), Vice-president star Tony Hale and Abbott Elementary SchoolSheryl Lee Ralph has revealed the TV shows and stars in the running for this year’s awards.

As expected, FX’s historical drama Shogun and black comedy The bear received several nominations, as did Richard Gadd’s controversial Netflix film, Baby reindeer.

Programs eligible for the Primetime Emmys must have aired in the United States between June 1, 2023, and May 31, 2024, with the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences selecting the nominees.

The winners will be revealed during the live ceremony on Sunday, September 15.
