The official release date of Honkai Star Rail 2.4 has been announced.
Previously, we enjoyed Honkai Star Rail’s version 2.3, titled “Farewell, Penacony”, released on June 19, 2024, which concluded Trailblazer’s journey to Penacony.
Warning: Spoilers ahead if you haven’t played the Farewell, Penacony scenario.
In version 2.3, we meet Jade. An important person in Penacony, Oti Alfalfa, head of the Alfalfa Family (one of the Family’s bloodlines in Penacony), invites us aboard his ship called Radiant Feldspar. Firefly sneaks aboard the ship and talks to Jade, who is well known for granting wishes to others, but at a price.
Things quickly escalate and the quest ends when we discover that Sparkle has placed doll-shaped “bombs” aboard the ship. Before Sparke can detonate these bombs, she pushes the Trailblazer off the ship. Firefly then jumps out, transforming into Sam to save you.
A month after the launch of version 2.3, which told the stories of Acheron, Aventurine, Sunday and other characters who played a key role in the Charmony Festival, we now move on to Honkai Star Rail 2.4, Finest Duel Under the Pristine Blue, a Trailblaze continuation where we return to the Xianzhou Luofu, get a chance to meet the characters of Xianzhou Wardance (which takes place up to version 2.5) and discover the new identity of Yanqing.
What is the Wardance Ceremony?
The annual Wardance Festival celebrates the triumph of Reighbow Arbiter and Cloud Knight against the Abominations of Abundance.
This year, the festival is of special significance. It is an opportunity to boost the morale of the people of Luofu after the recent crisis and to extend a helping hand to their allies and friends in a spirit of peace and hospitality.
You will reunite with Yanqing and meet esteemed characters like General Feixiao of Merlin’s Claw (Xianzhou Yaoqing) and General Huaiyan of the Flaming Heart (Xianzhou Zhuming).

Yunli, a young woman of exceptional talent, is the cherished granddaughter of the “fiery-hearted” General Huaiyan. Wielding her sword with equal parts skill and passion, Yunli has trained under Huaiyan’s watchful eye since childhood.
His dedication earned him the title of second youngest prodigious sword master in the Flamewheel Octet.
Yunli’s main skill is “Counter”. When attacked, she unleashes a rapid counterattack, punishing not only her attacker but also nearby enemies.
By triggering her ultimate, Yunli gains the Parry state, making her a defensive powerhouse. This stance reduces damage taken and forces enemies to focus their attacks on her. But that’s not all! While in Parry, Yunli’s critical damage skyrockets and her Counter transforms into a devastating Ability.
Yunli’s burning passion for fencing sometimes results in sparks flying with others. During the 2.4 version story, a friendly rivalry with Yanqing ignites, leading the two prodigies to co-teach March 7, sharing their unique styles with the eager student.

A Foxian healer and advisor born into a prestigious family in the Alchemy Commission, Jiaoqiu’s true genius lies in his unparalleled understanding of food as medicine. He doesn’t just prepare meals, but creates experiments: unique recipes bursting with flavor that reveal hidden medicinal properties.
As a Fire-type character who walks the path of nothingness, Jiaoqiu has a unique and powerful arsenal. His attacks have a chance to inflict “Ash Roast,” a debuff that burns enemies in a manner similar to the Burning condition. The more stacks of Ash Roast an enemy has, the fiercer the flames of his suffering become.
Jiaoqiu’s ultimate unleashes a gigantic Yuanyang Hot Pot, a veritable culinary battlefield. This not only intensifies the Ash Roast on affected enemies, but also creates a persistent area for several turns.
Here, enemies take amplified ultimate damage and are at risk of gaining additional stacks of Ash Roast with each action. This debuff becomes a strategic tool, allowing allies like Acheron to accelerate their ultimate charges and unleash even more devastating attacks.

- Primaveral Blade Saga — The War Dance Ceremony is approaching, and March 7 has been invited to become Yanqing and Yunli’s apprentice in fencing. As their assistant, you will plan fencing sessions to help them achieve victory in the eventual fencing duel. Completing this event will grant you an invitation to the March 7th Hunt.

- Trailblaze: Friendship is Magic! — The gray friend you met in your dreams has arrived alone in the real world of Belobog. He has arrived to resolve a crisis involving unknown shadows attacking the residents, but he urgently needs your help and that of your companions.
March 7th’s fighting style relies on her “Shifu”, a teammate she chooses to grant her a special power during her skill. This powerful drink increases their speed, giving them the advantage in combat.
March 7th learns quickly and adapts her fighting style based on her Shifu’s actions. When her mentor performs specific moves, March 7th gains “Charges.” Once these Charges reach a certain point, she unleashes a follow-up attack with an enhanced basic attack.
The power of his attacks is further amplified by the path chosen by his Shifu. Paths such as Destruction, Erudition or Hunting grant additional damage to specific attacks, while those of the Paths of Void, Harmony, Preservation or Abundance increase the enemy’s vulnerability. This creates a dynamic synergy between March 7 and his chosen mentor.
