Woods needs to get inside the top 64 in both days of stroke play to reach the tournament that runs through Saturday’s championship match. Woods will play on the South Course, which has served as Oakland Hills’ home for major championships for more than 100 years. It was renovated from 2019 to 2021 and plays 500 yards longer than the North Course.
Tiger is expected to be in attendance as a fan for the second straight day after walking with the crowd following his son during the first round Monday. Parents are not allowed to caddie for their children during the U.S. Junior Amateur.
