August promises to bring some highly anticipated TV shows, including the return of many fan favorites for second, third, or fourth seasons. Emily in Paris Season 4 is even split into two parts as Netflix likes to do with popular series of late like Ozark, Stranger Things And The Bridgerton Chronicle Season 3.

A Good Girl’s Guide to MurderNetflix
Adapted from Holly Jackson’s best-selling novel of the same name, Wednesday Star Emma Myers brings to life the main character and protagonist Pip Fitz-Amobi in this six-part series which is already available to stream in the UK as it was commissioned by the BBC. Pip, a bright student who tends to stick to the rules, decides to investigate a previously closed case involving Andie Bell (India Lillie Davies), a girl from Pip’s high school who was allegedly murdered by her boyfriend Sal Singh (Rahul Pattni). Pip, however, has always believed that Sal was innocent, and she intends to prove it as part of her final year project. A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder begins streaming on Netflix on August 1.
The Umbrella Academy Season 4, Netflix
The fourth and final season of The Umbrella Academy is brewing, and viewers can expect the arrival of David Cross, Nick Offerman, and Megan Mullally, in addition to the chaos caused by the Hargreeves siblings’ complete timeline reset after Season 3 ended at Hotel Oblivion. A mysterious group called The gardians also adds a few layers to the mix. It all comes to an end for Victor (Elliot Page), Luther (Tom Hopper), Diego (David Castańeda), Allison (Emmy Raver-Lampman), Klaus Hargreeves (Robert Sheehan), Number Five (Aidan Gallagher) and Ben Hargreeves (Justin H. Min) starting August 8.
Industry Season 3, Max
Max Industry features a group of young bankers in the competitive environment of the London office of international bank Pierpoint & Co. The grueling world of finance echoes the setting of Succession much like Pierpoint wants to invest ethically in Lumi, a green energy company. The show, which debuted in 2020, stars Myha’la, Marisa Abela, Harry Lawtey, Ken Leung, Conor MacNeill, Sagar Radia, Indy Lewis, Adam Levy, Sarah Parish, Trevor White, Elena Saurel and Irfan Shamji. Plus, Kit Harington, Sarah Goldberg, Miriam Petche, Andrew Havill, Roger Barclay, Fady Elsayed and Fiona Button. Kit Harrington (Game of (Thrones) will be season 3, which will arrive on August 11 on Max.
Emily in Paris Season 4 Part 1, Netflix
From Sex and the City creator Darren Star comes the latest installment of Emily in Parisanother series that arrived in 2020. Emily Cooper (Lily Collins) has made a good life for herself in Paris, where she initially went temporarily to work abroad. She now has to make some difficult decisions after Season 3 ended in a way that left her with an opening to be with Gabriel (Lucas Bravo), albeit with complications. Part 1 of Season 4 of Emily in Paris arrives on Netflix on August 15 and will consist of five episodes.

Season 4 of Hulu’s cozy crime series There are only murders in the building is coming this August with a bicoastal installment of the comedy series. Mabel Mora (Selena Gomez), Oliver Putnam (Martin Short), and Charles-Haden Savage (Steve Martin) will venture to Los Angeles for a film adaptation of their popular podcast. Enter a cast of new stars, including Eva Longoria, Molly Shannon, Eugene Levy, Kumail Nanjiani, Zack Galifianakis, Melissa McCarthy, Richard Kind, and more. The latest thriller will begin streaming on Hulu on August 27.
Pachinko Season 2, Apple TV+
Based on the book by Min Jin Lee, Apple TV+ and Media Res’ Pachinkotook the world by storm in 2022 with its arrival. Told in three languages (English, Korean, and Japanese), the family saga follows Sunja (Minha Kim) as she starts a family and witnesses the generations that follow her around the world. Stunning cinematography and moments of connection illuminate the story’s setting, which begins in Korea and then moves to Japan and beyond. Pachinko Season 2 arrives Friday, August 23 on Apple TV+.
