Thursday marks the first day of golf competition at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Over the next four days, the world’s best golfers will compete at Le Golf National in Guyancourt, France, in a bid to capture a gold medal for their respective countries. Reigning Tokyo 2020 Olympic gold medalist Xander Schauffele will lead Team USA along with world No. 1 golfer Scottie Scheffler.
Thursday and Friday’s rounds of golf at the Paris Games will surely be a treat for golf fans who will be able to see Scheffler play alongside Rory McIlroy and Ludvig Aberg in a group pair while Schauffele, Viktor Hovland and Jon Rahm will play 36 holes of golf together.

Who is representing Team USA at the Paris Olympics?
The U.S. team for the Paris Olympics will consist of Scottie Scheffler, Xander Schauffele, Collin Morikawa and Wyndham Clark.
Schauffele won gold at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics for the United States, where he beat Slovakia’s Rory Sabbatini by one shot at 18 under par. The 2024 Paris Olympics mark the Olympic debuts of Scheffler and Clark.
