Riot Games hot removed all agent buffs and nerfs that came with Valorant patch 8.11. Changes include agents like Clove, Iso, Reyna, Raze and Neon.
While Valorant patch 8.11 will bring Haven back to the map pool with the new map, it will also bring several changes to some of the most and least selected duelists.
The developers explained that these changes are intended to allow other duelists to stand against Jett and Raze in competitive matches. Historically, Reyna and Iso are two of the least picked duelists in competitive play, and Riot wants to make a change to the meta.
Iso and Neon are improved in Valorant patch 8.11
Riot decided to significantly improve Iso as this duelist has underperformed since its release. Her Press twice) now grants a shield after completing a 1 second animation and he cannot use his weapon during this time. Fees are reduced to 1 out of 2and it recovers a charge after 2 victims.
Neon’s strafing speed will no longer decrease while she sprints and her sprint speed has been increased to 9.11 meters per second from 6.73 meters per second. She will only need 20 seconds to completely regenerate fuelwhat used to take a minute, and she Sliding fees are increased from 1 to 2.
She will now have 1x Relay Bolt Load (Q) and it will be concuss an enemy for 3.5 seconds instead of 3 seconds.
Clove and Raze have been nerfed
Starting with patch 8.11, you will be able to play a slightly nerfed Clove. Their Pick-Me-Up (C) the cost is increased to 200 credits out of 100and the duration is reduced to 8 seconds from 10 seconds. Its damage assist activation time now takes 6 seconds instead of 10.
Their ultimate, Not dead yet (X)will require 8 ultimate points instead of 7 and the Unequip delay increased from 0.7 to 0.8 seconds..
To shave Explosive Pack (Q) Satchels will no longer explode if an enemy destroys them. Her horizontal speed while carrying her bag is slowed and the sound of her bags can now be heard more.
Reyna has been both buffed and nerfed
Reyna is a powerful Agent in Ranked mode but her kit does not allow her to be as effective in competitive play. As of patch 8.11, Reyna’s healing via Devour (Q) is reduced to 50 CVs out of 100and the full healing time is reduced to 2 seconds instead of 3.
Her Reject (E) has been improved because its maximum speed is increased from 9.1 m/s to 12 meters per second, but this total duration is reduced by half a second (from 2s to 1.5s).
Her ultimate, Empress (X), will no longer have a timer and will be permanent as long as she is alive or until the end of a turn.
Below is a complete overview of all the agent buffs and nerfs that come with Valorant patch 8.11.
Agent Updates
ISO
Iso is only receiving buffs in this patch because he is underperforming in all skill categories. The increase in Iso’s signature ability aims to make Iso more reliable in difficult contested spaces and win opening duels by granting his shield immediately after channeling the ability. Iso’s buff will also remain active and the orbs will still appear if he loses his shield and gets a kill while Double Tap is up. Shooting the orbs will refresh the duration of the buff and shield.
- Press twice)
- Iso now grants himself a shield at the end of a 1 second animation during which he cannot use his weapon.
- This plays a shield forming sound at the end of the channel when the shield is activated.
- Fees 2 >>> 1
- Kill reset added to Double Tap (Iso recovers a charge if he gets 2 kills).
- Iso now receives a wall penetration tag instead of a standard heavy penetration tag when the shield is broken. This means he slows down less when his shield breaks.
- Additionally, Iso now gets a damage indicator towards the enemy who broke the shield.
- Iso can now recast Double Tap while active to refresh shield duration.
- This is relevant if he gets a new charge of his Double Tap after getting 2 kills.
Neon
We want to make Neon an agent that excels in mobile combat directly against her opponents by enhancing the unique value she brings to the table. We made his slide more effective at sliding directly at opponents by making him more combat-ready and removing all weapon movement errors while sliding, as well as a few other changes. Updates to his Fast Lane (C) aim to make combat around his wall more intuitive for Neon’s allies while reducing the visual noise he creates in the game.
Honing her Relay Trait (Q) into a more premium and reliable single-charge ability is intended to allow Neon to be more successful when she decides to engage in combat with her slide , as well as making room for the second slide. charge.
- Fast lane (C)
- Fast Lane (C) dissipates from behind to minimize visual noise in the battle space while covering Neon.
- Fast Lane (C) audio has been updated to travel with the fade out of the wall.
- Wall duration 6s >>> 4s
- Wall dissolution time 1 s >>> 2 s
- High speed (E)
- Sprint
- Neon no longer has his strafing speed reduced while sprinting.
- Maximum sprint speed when moving lateral 6.73 meters/second >>> 9.11 meters/second
- Time until full fuel regeneration 60 s >>> 20 s
- Slide
- Slide Loads 1 >>> 2
- Neon now removes all weapon movement errors when sliding.
- This effectively means that it is more precise when sliding.
- Second slide cost: 150
- Equipped outside slide: Fast >>> Instant
- Slide equip buffer >>> 0.2s (after sliding, there are 0.2 seconds left before his weapon comes out)
- Relay bolt (Q)
- Fees 2 >>> 1
- Winding delay 1.1 s >>> 0.8 s
- Duration of concussion 3.0 s >>> 3.5 s
Reyna
Reyna receives both buffs and nerfs in this patch to reshape the power of her kit. The goal of the changes is to reduce the level of dominance she can achieve in Ranked, particularly at low and mid ranks when she outclasses enemies, while increasing some of her value in coordinated contexts:
- Healing was found to be statistically very powerful in ranked mode, with higher impact at low and mid ranks. This change should reduce its ability to snowball in these contexts.
- Removing the time restrictions on Devour (Q) and Empress (X) should allow you more flexibility to play at your team’s pace and increase the base value of both in a coordinated game where turns move more slowly.
- Reject (E) has been retuned to provide a greater increase in movement speed, but has a shorter duration. This should reward decisive and skillful Reyna players by unlocking faster and more powerful combat repositioning.
We’ll be tracking how these updates affect Reyna across all the different skill levels and game settings.
- Devour (Q)
- Healing decreased by 100 >>> 50
- Full healing time reduced from 3 sec >>> 2 sec
- Armor overhealing no longer decreases after a delay.
- Reject (E)
- Maximum speed increased by 9.1 meters/second >>> 12 meters/second
- Total rejection duration reduced by 2 s >>> 1.5 s
- Empress (X)
- The Empress no longer has a timer and is permanent until Reyna is killed or the turn ends.
To shave
As you get better at Raze’s bag mobility, we’ve found that his total speed and movement potential can hurt the tactical loop. These changes are intended to allow you to counter Raze in a more reasonable manner, whether through your own utility or your shot. While we still want to keep the sandbox movement fantasy of Raze’s satchels, she shouldn’t be as surprising when not supported by allied utilities.
- Explosive Pack (Q)
- Raze’s Satchels no longer explode on damage/knockback when destroying the opponent.
- Raze’s horizontal speed when satcheling has been slowed.
- Satchel explosion audio has been updated to be audible further away to ensure enemies can hear the first satchel when a Raze doubles the satchel.
Clove
While we’re thrilled to see how immediately relevant Clove has been in Ranked and how much you enjoy playing them, their performance in Ranked Play is better than we’d like. We’re reducing some of the extraneous power from their Selfish, Duelist-oriented outputs while preserving Controller-oriented power in their kit.
- Pick-Me-Up (C)
- Cost 100 >>> 200
- Duration 10s >>> 8s
- Damaging assistance Activation time 10 s >>> 6 s
- Not dead yet (X)
- Cost 7 >>> 8
- Unequip Delay 0.7 >>> 0.8 sec
- BUGFIX: Clove’s ultimate will no longer survive the combat state if he receives a smoke assist.
