In an affidavit, Scott Adkins, Cyrus’ manager, claims to have witnessed the abuse towards Cyrus – and Cyrus cited a letter she left for him as a denial of Firerose’s allegations of abuse against him. after leaving their premarital residence.

The letter – provided as proof – says “I’m really sorry” and “Please give me a chance to remedy this situation.” I can explain everything but I need you by my side.

Cyrus also claims he questioned Firerose about alleged lies about his last name – and alleges she threatened to “end his career” if he tried to divorce her by “telling the public he ‘had requested a separation because she needed a double mastectomy.”

Cyrus also claims that Firerose knew she had the faulty BRCA1 gene mutation – meaning she is at higher risk of breast and ovarian cancer – for four years, but he didn’t know until ‘after their marriage.

A representative for Firerose responded to the claims in a statement to DailyMail.com, saying: “Her story continues to evolve and this filing is just another abusive tactic to distract from the serious and true allegations made against him, supported by an abundance of information. evidence.

“The audacity to question a BRCA-positive woman’s decision to undergo preventive surgery once again demonstrates the kind of cruel manipulation Firerose was subjected to.”

Firerose previously claimed the Achy Breaky Heart singer filed for divorce just 24 hours before she was due to undergo a preventative double mastectomy.

In Firerose’s complaint, she denied being guilty of inappropriate marital conduct and claimed it was Cyrus who made living together “unsafe.”

She said the weeks leading up to her preventive double mastectomy and reconstruction surgery, recommended by her doctor in March, had been “chaos.”

The artist, a carrier of the BRCA1 gene mutation, also claimed that her partner had “continually launched verbal attacks” at her and had placed her “in an emotional and psychological prison”.

Firerose claims that less than 24 hours before she was supposed to have surgery, he filed for divorce and that “Cyrus’ brother and sister-in-law banged on her bedroom door for three and a half hours this that day, demanding that she leave. their common home.

She said she did so and made the decision to postpone her surgery “indefinitely” because she no longer had a permanent residence and “would have relied on Cyrus’ health insurance and his previous promises to pay his operation.

Firerose, who is seeking child support from Cyrus, accused Cyrus of intentionally trying to sabotage her career “in retaliation.”

“The accumulation of years of verbal, emotional and psychological abuse, combined with the fact that the husband played a direct role in restricting the wife’s access to income and future opportunities, the wife developed a severe emotional distress due to her husband’s actions,” the complaint states. “The wife had to seek psychological treatment from her therapist for emergency sessions on several occasions.”

Cyrus’ lawyers denied Firerose’s claims to DailyMail.com.

It comes just days after Billy Ray’s legal team called Firerose’s allegations against him “confusing and suspicious”, following news that she had accused him of “verbally abusive , extreme emotional and psychological”.

“Plus, she was begging him to give her a chance to explain everything to him.”

After Firerose filed for divorce on June 14, Billy Ray’s team responded and filed their own complaint on June 17, a supplement to his original complaint for annulment and divorce filed on May 23.

He alleged that his ex-wife “led a campaign to isolate him” from his family and prevented him from communicating with a girl since the May filing, and also included a handwritten note that he said had was written by Firerose.

His lawyers, Rose Palermo and Jason Talley, told People that Billy Ray “discovered” the letter in which Firerose “professed her love and need to be with Mr. Cyrus” when he returned home two days later that it “was required”. by court decision, to leave his residence of more than 25 years.

A source told People: “He is more relieved every day to be done with his marriage. His instincts have always been correct. He thinks she only married him for financial and other reasons. He is convinced that she did not marry him for love’

The note read: “I miss you more than I can explain in words, baby.

“Please, let’s fix this and only get closer to this hellish experience.”
