Post Malone’s “I Had Some Help,” featuring Morgan Wallen, rebounds from No. 2 for a sixth week at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The song, Post Malone’s sixth single and Wallen’s second, spent its first five weeks on the chart at No. 1 since its debut in May.
The collaboration is the first to stay at No. 1 on the Hot 100 for six weeks in 2024, surpassing the five weeks at the top, out of six total since late 2023, of Jack Harlow’s “Lovin on Me.” No song has held the top spot longer since Wallen’s “Last Night” held the top spot for 16 consecutive weeks from March to August of last year.
“I Had Some Help” also reached No. 1 on the Radio Songs chart, becoming a rare song to top the all-format airplay tally as well as the Country Airplay survey.
Additionally, Shaboozey’s “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” hits a new No. 2 peak on the Hot 100; former frontman Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” climbs 6-3 and returns to No. 1 on the Streaming Songs chart, following his Juneteenth concert The Pop Out: Ken & Friends — in which he performed the song five times; and Sabrina Carpenter claims two songs in the Hot 100’s top five for a third week.
The Hot 100 combines data from all-genre U.S. streaming (official audio and official video), radio airplay and sales, the latter metric reflecting purchases of physical singles and digital tracks from full-service digital music retailers; digital single sales from direct-to-consumer (D2C) sites are excluded from chart calculations. “Help” Tops Hot 100 and Radio Songs
“I Had Some Help,” on Mercury/Big Loud/Republic, adds a sixth week at No. 1 on the Hot 100, with 76.5 million radio audience impressions (up 5%), 39.1 million official streams (down 3%) and 12,000 sales (down 8%) in the U.S. from June 21-27.
The duo climbs 2-1 on the Radio Songs chart, becoming Post Malone’s second leader after “Circles” led for 11 weeks in 2019-20, and Wallen’s first. It also holds steady at No. 3 after two weeks on top of the Digital Songs chart, and slips 2-4 after leading the Streaming Songs chart in its first week.
Topping the Country Airplay chart for a second week, “I Had Some Help” becomes the sixth song to top both the Country Airplay and Radio Songs charts across all formats since the charts were first created in 1990 (and expanded in 1998 to include country panelists, among other format reporters). Below is a recap of the six songs that achieved success on both country and pop/adult radio, as all six reached the top 10 on the Pop Airplay, Adult Pop Airplay and Adult Contemporary charts in addition to their Country Airplay crowns.
Additionally, “I Had Some Help” reached No. 1 on the Radio Songs chart in its eighth week, by far the fastest run to the top of the six hits below.

Shaboozey raises the bar
Shaboozey’s “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” climbs 3-2 to become the highest-charting single on the Hot 100. Notably, it ties the highest-charting single of the song it interpolates — J-Kwon’s “Tipsy,” which peaked at No. 2 in April 2004 — and the duo performed a mash-up of the tracks last night (June 30) at the 2024 BET Awards.
“A Bar Song (Tipsy)” topped the Digital Song Sales chart for the seventh consecutive week (22,000 copies sold, up 7%). It was the longest-running single by a solo artist in the 2020s; among all groups, only BTS’s “Butter” (2021) and “Dynamite” (2020-12) have spent more time at the top, 18 weeks each, in this decade.

“Not Like Us” Takes a Leap Forward
Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us,” which topped the Hot 100 in its first week in May, scored a 6-3 following his June 19 concert The Pop Out: Ken & Friends — during which he performed the angry diss track five times — at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, Calif.
The single flies 6-1 for a fourth week atop Streaming Songs, up 30% to 45.4 million streams, earning it top Streaming Gainer honors on the Hot 100. It’s also up 101% to 8,000 sales, earning it top Sales Gainer honors on the Hot 100.
The song topped the multi-metric Hot Rap Songs chart for a seventh week and Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs for a fifth week.

Carpenter continues with 2 in the Top 5
Sabrina Carpenter’s “Please Please Please” falls to No. 5 on the Hot 100, a week after becoming her first No. 1, and “Espresso” holds steady at No. 4 after peaking at No. 3.
“Please Please Please” earns a Hot 100 Airplay Gainer nomination (9.7 million listeners, up 203%). It soars on the Pop Airplay chart (aided by several radio-friendly edits) to #24; “Espresso” climbs 3–2 for a new Pop Airplay record; and previous single “Feather,” which became Carpenter’s first No. 1 on the chart in April, lands at #12. She is the only artist to have three songs on the chart.
Carpenter has a third week with two songs in the Hot 100’s top five simultaneously – they remain the only group with multiple such titles in 2024.

Richman leads rest of top 10
Tommy Richman’s “Million Dollar Baby” returns 5-6 on the Hot 100, after peaking at No. 2. It tops the multi-metric Hot R&B Songs chart for a ninth week.
Hozier’s “Too Sweet” remains steady at No. 7 on the Hot 100, following a week at No. 1 in April. It topped the multi-metric Hot Rock Songs and Hot Alternative Songs charts for a 13th week each and the Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart for a 12th week.
The rest of the Hot 100’s top 10 is also flat, with Benson Boone’s “Beautiful Things,” which peaked at No. 2, at No. 8, Teddy Swims’ “Lose Control,” which reigned for a week in March, at No. 9 and Billie Eilish’s “Birds of a Feather” at No. 10 after peaking at No. 9.
